Artist Corner - Ronjii

Ambitions:  To be the first Bahamian Hip-Hop artist with a major record deal.

Experience:  Performed at several venues to include: Talent competition winner at Wild Out Wednesday in Club Amnesia in 2002, the opening act at the Dancehall King and Queen Competition in Club Amnesia in 2003, and the opening act for Jackie O at Bullets Birthday bash in the Bahamas in 2004. Ronjii also opened up for Bone Crusher, Naughty by Nature and Mystikal in 2003 at the “Stop the Violence” concert in Freeport, Grand Bahama and was a crowd favorite at the Bahamian Idol Competition in 2004. Ronjii has 6 singles in rotation between 4 radio stations throughout the Bahamas- Cool 96 FM, ZNS 810 AM, Mix 102.3 (in Freeport) and 100 JAMZ (in Nassau, Bahamas).

FYI:  Ronjii has been rapping since he was 13.  Writing since he was 15 and started performing and dancing at 16.  His influences are Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, L.L. Cool J and Biggie. But Ronjii is still his own individual and has his own fresh original style.  He is going to bring something new to Hip-Hop and the entertainment world on a whole.
